Real Wedding: Kelly & Jason

This week we're highlighting Kelly & Jason’s wedding that took place at Legacy Hill Farm on June 29th, 2019. Kelly came to us about a year prior to her big day inquiring about our day of coordination services. While she had originally signed on with our day of coordination package, a few months into the planning she circled back with us to see if she could upgrade her services to the event design package. That was absolutely an option and we were thrilled about it!

Over the next few months, we kept in touch via email about vendors, Pinterest boards, and other miscellaneous items. We had a design meeting about 6-8 months prior to the big day in which we chatted about her vision and thoroughly reviewed her Pinterest boards. Our team created a mood board for Kelly that beautifully showcased her vision in about 15-20 images. What she had envisioned so far was navy blue suits for the groomsmen, long burgundy dresses for the bridesmaids and an overall boho vibe. We were obsessed! The boho theme has become increasingly popular lately and we were excited to execute our first boho-inspired wedding complete with a macrame hanging backdrop and ALL the pampas grass. YASSS.

The day of the wedding as things were starting to get setup, we could see her vision was being executed just so perfectly. The pampas grass perfectly lined the ceremony aisle, the macrame hanging backdrop perfectly complimented the light breeze and the reception area was starting to look amazing. While there happened to be a heat advisory the day of their wedding, everything was still perfection and everyone made the best of it. There were plenty of bottles of water and fans in the reception area to keep guests comfortable. After all, this was an outdoor wedding and the weather is unfortunately one thing you cannot control on your wedding day! Kelly & Jason - Congratulations!
