Melody | owner + lead planner/DESIGNER

Melody is the Owner and Lead Planner/Designer of Events by Melody. A graduate of the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities with a degree in Business Marketing, she founded the company from the ground up and has since guided over 100 couples through the planning and design of their weddings.

Her work is rooted in creating celebrations that feel deeply personal, seamlessly executed, and intentionally designed from start to finish. Known for her calm, organized presence and refined aesthetic, Melody leads each event with a focus on both the overall vision and the smallest details that bring it to life.

Outside of weddings, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Brandon, and their children, Logan and Emma. She enjoys traveling, with favorite destinations including Cancun, Iceland, Switzerland, and San Francisco, and appreciates a great cup of coffee, her plants, and a cat never too far away.

 
 

MARISSA | LEAD COORDINATOR

Marissa holds degrees in Event Management and Public Relations from Iowa State University and brings a passionate, detail-oriented eye to every wedding day. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with a glass of Pinot Grigio while watching Netflix or Hulu, spending time with her dog and family, cooking, and traveling.

Alexis | LEAD COORDINATOR

With over a decade of experience, Alexis has worked in a variety of roles from catering director to venue coordinator, along with time in bridal fashion. Outside of weddings, she enjoys reading, watching Marvel and Lord of the Rings movies, and spending time with her Siberian Husky, Great Pyrenees, and two cats.

ANGELI | LEAD COORDINATOR

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire with a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Angeli is detail-oriented and passionate about bringing each couple’s vision to life. In her spare time, you can find her snowboarding, hosting game nights, or getting lost in a good book.

Kirsten | LEAD COORDINATOR

An Iowa State University alum with a degree in Event Management, Kirsten was practically destined for weddings as she entered the world just hours after her parents attended one. She is highly organized and finds joy in every detail. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time at her family cabin, and cozying up with her dogs.

KAYLA | ASSISTANT COORDINATOR

With a decade of experience in customer service and a background in Marketing and Communications, Kayla brings a fresh and thoughtful perspective to the wedding industry. In her free time, she enjoys working out, hiking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family. She also loves exploring new restaurants and coffee spots.

LUIZA | ASSISTANT COORDINATOR

Luiza is passionate about the magic of bringing people together and celebrating meaningful moments. Warm, vibrant, and community-driven, she brings an energetic presence to every event. When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her dog Ernie, her cats, and her ever-growing (and slightly dramatic) plant collection.
