Heartfelt Ways to Honor Lost Loved Ones at Your Wedding

Unfortunately, not everyone that you love and who is important to you can make it to your wedding as they may have passed onto the next life and are kept in our thoughts and prayers. There are, however, many ways to honor these loved ones at your wedding.

Memorial Table
One way to honor lost loved ones at your wedding would be to dedicate a table to them, sometimes called a memorial table. This could have photos of those who have passed away, as well as a burning candle signifying their spirit and a small bouquet of flowers to honor them.

A Moment of Silence
Taking time either during the ceremony or blessing before dinner to have a moment of silence to honor those who have passed is another way to honor them. Letting those know who are there about how much those people meant to you and how much you wish they were there with you.

Save Them a Seat
Having an open chair at the ceremony with a bouquet of flowers or having a picture frame of that person is another great way to honor them. It reminds those around them of their importance in the family and that their presence is missed.
