What about PAIKKA would you like to highlight to couples?
PAIKKA is a beautiful, natural light-filled modern, industrial venue. There are three spaces onsite - the Gold Room, the Pink Room, and the Courtyard. We allow both onsite ceremonies and receptions. The Courtyard offers an outdoor ceremony site under charming cafe lights. Cocktail hour happens both on the Courtyard and in the Pink Room, and beautiful receptions occur inside the Gold Room. The natural flow of the venue offers a unique change of scenery throughout an event for guests.
How do you help a couple create their perfect wedding?
PAIKKA allows clients to really customize their events. We have an open vendor policy which means that our clients are welcome to select vendors of their choice, once they have been approved by PAIKKA. We have seen so many unique and personal touches on weddings here because clients are really welcome to create their perfect wedding including their perfect food, beverage, and decor. No two weddings have ever felt the same here! We include a Design Meeting in our rental where we sit down and create a custom floor plan with each couple which is really fun to envision and collaborate on a client's dream together.
What are the current trends you've seen with weddings?
Due to our open vendor policy, we see a lot of food trucks at weddings. This is a fun trend because it allows for options and flexibility in the dinner service style. Some clients opt for a more traditional catered-style dinner and then have a food truck pull up during dancing for late-night snacks. This creates a fun formal-turns-casual flow throughout the event.
What other events, besides weddings, does PAIKKA host?
PAIKKA hosts a lot of corporate and non-profit benefit-related events. We love providing a space for other businesses to raise funds, have their yearly galas, or celebrate their staff. We also host an annual Holiday Bazaar, a winter vendor market, where hundreds of people come and shop for the holidays from many amazing and talented local vendors.
