Vendor Spotlight: The White Room
If you’re a bride to be, one of the most exciting things during the wedding planning process is DRESS SHOPPING, of course! There are many great bridal shops in the Twin Cities and one of our favorites is The White Room located in NE Minneapolis. In fact, many of our brides have found their dream wedding gown at The White Room! We did a Q&A session with them to find out more, check it out!
How do I book an appointment at The White Room?
You can either book an appointment online at www.thewhiteroommpls.com/appointments or over the phone at (612) 361-7175. Our 'First Time!' appointments are an hour and a half and we recommend bringing a group of 5 or less for the most in depth, intimate experience!
How much money should I expect to spend on a dress at The White Room? What types of gowns do you carry?
Our gowns range between $2,000 and $5,500. Although we are a smaller, curated boutique we do have a variety of dresses in each of the price points within this range. We focus on maintaining fresh, fashion forward gowns from up and coming designers. If you're interested in clean lines, unique textiles, and wedding dresses that look actually wearable: we're your shop! The majority of our gowns are fit and flare, columns, and a- lines.
What makes you unique from other bridal stores?
We are a local shop, and a small team of three people- which means we truly care about each dress in our showroom, and every bride who books an appointment with us. The person helping you and your family has also hand chosen the dress you are trying on, has gone to dinner with your designer, has posted that Instagram picture that made you want to book an appointment. We as a team are passionate about getting to know the bride as a person, connecting to her like a friend, and helping her find a gown or a look that represents who she is on her wedding day. We believe this intimacy is unmatched in the Minneapolis bridal market!
What trends are you seeing at the moment?
We are noticing some exciting layering of fabric and laces, statement earrings, fun bridal shoes with pops of colors, and a variety of necklines beyond the classic 'v neck' coming into style!
Anything else you'd like to share with us?
My best advice for the fashion forward bride is to come in ready to be surprised. Don't get too caught up in Pinterest- these dresses want to 'talk to you', and your perfect look could be something you've never seen before.
