Real Wedding: Rachel & Weston
This month we’re highlighting Rachel & Weston’s wedding that took place on December 4, 2021 at the Machine Shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We LOVE doing weddings at the Machine Shop as it’s one of our favorite venues in the Twin Cities. If you’re familiar with this venue, typically ceremonies are held downstairs, cocktail hour is upstairs, and then guests come back downstairs for the reception. However, Rachel & Weston did things a little differently. Since they had a smaller guest list of about 115 people, they decided to have their ceremony and cocktail hour upstairs, and then finish the night downstairs for dinner and dancing. The upstairs ceremony was so intimate and different (in a good way!) from what we were used to. It’s definitely something to consider if you’re having a smaller guest list. Being their wedding was in early December you just never know about the weather in Minnesota. Lucky for Rachel & Weston, they had some fresh snow later in the evening which made for amazing photos. If you’re getting married in the winter, cross your fingers for some fresh snow on your wedding day. You won’t regret it! Rachel & Weston — Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness!
