Real Wedding: Mattie & Michael

This month we’re highlighting Mattie & Michael’s wedding that took place on February 19, 2022 at St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Landmark Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. Mattie reached out to our team last summer as she was looking for a “Day of Coordinator” for her upcoming wedding. During our consult, I could see just how excited she was for her upcoming wedding. We were SO thrilled to be part of her special day! Throughout the planning process, Mattie had been working very closely with her Mom who helped out a lot and was copied on emails and kept in the loop at all times. It was so fun to watch them get excited about the wedding planning process but ready to take a break on the day-of and let our team handle the rest!

Finally the big day was here! Although it was a bit chilly outside, that was expected for a mid-February wedding in Minnesota. The sun was shining and it was going to be an amazing day ahead. Mattie and the rest of the ladies got ready across the road at Saint Paul Hotel. The hotel has a lovely getting ready room called the L’etoile Room (with views of the Landmark Center!) Later in the day, the wedding party and family gathered for photos at the Landmark Center and across the street at Rice Park. They then made their way to St. John’s Lutheran Church for the ceremony. After their I Do’s, everyone headed back to the Landmark Center to get the party started over there. It was a fun night complete with live music from Bluewater Kings Band which is always a good time!
