Real Wedding: Allie & Danny

This week we're highlighting Allie & Danny’s wedding that took place at Aria in Minneapolis on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Allie reached out to us earlier in 2018 where she had heard about our day of coordination services on Facebook. She was looking for a day of coordinator to help manage all of her vendors and ensure everything ran smoothly on the day of her wedding. Safe to say… she came to the right place!

The summer and fall months flew by and Allie & Danny’s wedding day was only a few short weeks away! We met with them in our home office (come check it out if you haven’t already! #shamelessplug) and talked through their day-of timeline and setup/teardown needs. We were so excited to be back at Aria and help make their vision come to life! The day of their wedding our team showed up in the early afternoon to start setting up their pretty decor and ensure everything was flawless before guests arrived. We also ran and coordinated their rehearsal which only took about 15 minutes and wrapped up just in time before guests starting arriving for the ceremony. Once guests started to arrive we greeted them and pointed them in the direction of the ceremony (which was GORGEOUS by the way). Guests oohed and aahed as they entered Aria. After the ceremony, we ushered guests into the foyer area for cocktail hour and worked alongside the Aria and Deco Catering team to flip the room (convert from a ceremony to a reception all in 90 minutes!) Once all was said and done, the reception was set and ready and looked FABULOUS! The night continued with dinner, speeches, first dances and quite the dance party (literally so many guests on the dance floor… way to go Adagio DJ Krista!) Allie & Danny -- CONGRATULATIONS! “Melody and her team were amazing to have as our day of coordinators!! They were incredibly easy to work with, helped us make sure we had all of our details organized, and even provided us with some recommendations that we we would have never thought of! She made sure our whole wedding party could be hands off once she arrived and that was much appreciated by all! We had a quick rehearsal day of in our venue and Melody ran the rehearsal with ease and made sure each person knew their role and their spot. When the night began winding down, she and her team helped pack up our decor and made the end of the night as incredibly easy as the whole day was!
