This week we're highlighting Cara + Lewis's wedding that took place on October 21, 2017 at St. Andrews Lutheran Church and Dellwood Country Club. Cara found us on the Minnesota Brides Facebook group and reached out to us in June of 2017 inquiring about having a day of coordinator for her upcoming wedding. We briefly chatted with Cara's Mother, Nadine, on the phone later that day as Nadine herself also really thought a day of coordinator would be a great idea as she wanted to focus on just one thing -- being the Mother of the Bride, of course! They decided to move forward with our services and we were thrilled to be working with them! A few weeks later, we met in person for the initial meeting to discuss wedding plans and how far they were in the process. From the sound of it, things we're coming along!

Fast forward to one month prior to the wedding and it was time for us to meet again and discuss the final wedding details! How exciting! We met again for coffee and went over vendors, the wedding day timeline and other details. Things were really starting to come together and Cara & Lewis we're just so excited their big day was finally near. A few weeks later, October 21, 2017 was upon us! Although it was a chilly and rainy Saturday morning in October, that didn't stop Cara & Lewis and their close friends and family from enjoying the day. The girls got ready onsite at Dellwood Country Club while our team put the final touches on setting up all the pretty decor at both the ceremony and reception sites. A few hours later, the wedding party headed over to St. Andrews Lutheran Church to tie the knot. During the ceremony, our team snuck in to grab cards, gifts and miscellaneous decor to bring it back to the reception at Dellwood Country Club (shameless promoting on why YOU need a day of coordinator). We arrived back at Dellwood and carefully brought all of their wedding decor items, cards & gifts inside and patiently waited for the guests to arrive. Loring String Quartet played beautiful music during cocktail hour, the dessert table was set to perfection, and the reception ballroom was just so lovely. It's obvious that every detail was well accounted for in planning Cara & Lewis's wedding. In short, what a day to remember! Cara & Lewis -- CONGRATULATIONS!
