This week we're highlighting Lauren & Joe’s wedding that took place at A’BULAE in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota on August 18, 2018. Lauren & Joe got engaged during the Holidays in 2016 and just a few months shortly after that they had started to begin planning their wedding. Being the busy couple they were, there was just one thing missing… they needed a wedding planner! Lauren & Joe found us on Facebook in early 2017 and we sat down for the initial consultation and hit it off right away. They had mentioned that they hadn’t done much planning yet, although they did have a pretty solid guest list written out. We talked all about what types of venues they like and Lauren mentioned they were into something glam, modern and elegant. A few venues came to mind which included A’BULAE in downtown St. Paul, and Minneapolis Event Center and Aria in downtown Minneapolis. Just a few short weeks later we toured these venues starting with A’BULAE. Lauren and Joe walked in and loved the vibe right away. The rest was history.

A few weeks later, we had our first planning meeting to start chatting about vendors and bringing their vision to life. Some of their first vendors booked included Rochelle Louise Photography, Sadie’s Floral and their officiant, Griffin (Minnesota Marrying Man). During the fall and winter months, we sat down and discussed their vision and Lauren mentioned she wanted lots of sparkle and all the glam! We went over to Apres to look at linens, chargers, and more to help bring her vision to life. In short, they didn’t disappoint! Once 2018 rolled around, we started to meet with Lauren & Joe more often as their wedding was approaching… and fast! We continued to book a few more vendors including Eyetography, Primped and Angel Food Bakery (donuts!).

Fast forward to their wedding day… we were SO excited for them to finally say “I DO” after working with them for a year and a half! Lauren and her girls got ready in the beautiful bridal suite at A’BULAE while Joe and the guys got ready in the awesome groom’s room. Meanwhile, vendors starting arriving at noon to setup the linens, florals and more! Our team showed up and setup the escort cards, photo frames and other miscellaneous decor that Lauren & Joe provided. Everything looked so gorgeous! The day continued with a first look and ceremony on the rooftop and a gorgeous reception (dinner and dancing!) in the ballroom.
