Vendor Spotlight: Dream Day Dressing Rooms

During the wedding planning process, you'll likely come across a lot of different vendors. From photographers to DJ's, you'll have plenty of amazing options to choose from. I was recently browsing Facebook when I came across Dream Day Dressing Rooms and it was love at first sight. That's when I had to reach out and find out more! Here is Amy's story...

Planning a wedding was one of the most stressful times in my life. There are so many different aspects to think about and it always seemed that once I crossed one thing off my list, three more tasks sprouted in its place. One morning while I was working on crossing things off my ever growing to-do list with my mom, we decided to tackle one of my biggest problems. The beautiful hotel we had chosen for our wedding only had a plain conference room for me and TEN of my bridesmaids to get ready in. We knew we were going to either have to bring in a whole lot of mirrors ourselves or find somewhere we could rent them from. After doing a quick internet search, we were shocked to find that none of the rental companies in Minnesota had anything that we were looking for. We were surprised that there was such an obvious gap in the wedding market. My mom, being the superwoman she is, got to work. If we couldn't find a place to rent furniture from for my wedding day, she would buy it herself and start her own business.

We then brainstormed what we would need to create the bridal suite of my dreams: a comfortable couch and chairs, a full length mirror, a steamer, a garment rack for all of our dresses and lighted vanities. We wanted to create a space that was comfortable enough for my large bridal party to hang out in all day without feeling confined. If you've ever had to get ready in a room with a handful of other women, you also understand the importance of not having to fight over mirrors.

Have this gorgeous space to get ready in made my wedding day so much more enjoyable. It was nice to have a "home base" for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen (we do rooms for guys, too!). Most importantly, it saved us from having to completely trash the suite we would be staying in our wedding night.

Now that my wedding is all said and done, I'm enjoying my first year as a newlywed. I want to help other brides have a wedding day that was as seamless and fun as mind was. My mom, Heidi, and I have been attending bridal shows for the past year. We are even hosting our own open house at our showroom in Blaine (our next open house is on March 11th!) We want to share this idea with everyone!
