What's the Difference? Day of Coordinator VS. Venue Coordinator
"My venue already provides an onsite coordinator - so - why would I need to hire a day of coordinator?" This is something we hear all the time... seriously! While both of these roles are similar, they have quite a few differences as well. Events by Melody specializes in day of coordination services and while we would work exclusively for you, an onsite venue coordinator, on the other hand, works for the venue. Now, there's absolutely nothing wrong with venue coordinators and we actually really appreciate them! Sure, they'll assist you (and us!) the day of your wedding, but they can only do so much. They'll likely help set up and make sure the dinner is served on time, however, Events by Melody (and any other day of coordinator for that matter) will go above and beyond and be there for you!
As your day of coordinator, we promise to take care of you from day one. We are in charge of assisting you with finalizing all the small details and your wedding day timeline. We'll make sure you aren't missing anything on your wedding day as we will get down to every last detail! We not only manage vendors and set out your DIY projects and personal touches, but we will make sure your wedding day runs smoothly from start to finish. We'll be there to remind you of milestone moments (first dance, cake cutting -- and then some) and we'll even give you a hand if your bustle breaks! In the end, our clients like to refer to us as more than just a day of coordinator --instead, we are their friends.
