Real Wedding: Brittany & Joel

This week we're highlighting Brittany & Joel’s wedding that took place at JX Event Venue in Stillwater, Minnesota on May 4th, 2019. As a matter of fact, it was our first wedding of the year and we were SO excited to kick off wedding season with this amazing couple. In 2018, we participated in the Stillwater Wedding Fair which was hosted at JX Event Venue. We had a booth setup and met many awesome couples and their families that day. A few even booked our services right on the spot! Brittany stopped by our booth and entered the drawing to win $100 off our day of coordination services. While she unfortunately didn’t our drawing, she won the drawing that JX Event Venue had going on which was, get this, a FREE venue rental at JX! I mean, come on!

A few months later, Brittany emailed us inquiring about our day of coordination services and to see if we still had availability for her big day. She was in luck because we did! Fast forward to 2019 and her wedding was just a few short months away. The day of coordination package began 30 days prior in which we started working with her to finalize wedding day details, create a detailed wedding timeline, and confirm arrival times and other day-of details with her fabulous vendors. The day of the wedding, Melody & Lauren showed up (and excited as all ever because it was our first wedding of the year!) and started setting up the decor Brittany & Joel had provided. Meanwhile, the florist was setting up her stuff and the room was starting to come together and look gorgeous. As guests starting arrived, they oohed and aahed over just how gorgeous everything was. We don’t blame them :) The ceremony was beautiful and we loved hearing the vows Brittany & Joel had written to each other. What a great couple, they are such genuine people! The night continued with a delicious dinner from Marna’s, dessert (LOTS of dessert), and the IV Play Band making it one heck of a night that everyone will remember for years to come. Brittany & Joel - Congratulations! Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
