This week we're highlighting Kassie & Jake's wedding that took place at St. Mary's Greek Orthodox Church and The Graduate Hotel in Minneapolis on May 19, 2018. Kassie came to us during summer of 2017 in search of someone who could help her plan her upcoming wedding. While she wasn't exactly looking for full planning, she was looking for someone who would be there day-of to ensure everything goes off without a hitch, but also someone who could be available to help guide her during the planning process. With that, we came up with a custom wedding planning package for her which included unlimited email correspondence, two planning meetings and our popular day of coordination package.

While Kassie had already secured most of her vendors when she hired us on, she still needed assistance bringing it all together and helping with her overall vision. We knew her wedding would be gorgeous as she had great taste and an eye for detail. We continued to work together during the fall, winter and spring months going back and forth on all of the planning details to make sure everything was in pristine condition. We had our first planning meeting a few months from the wedding to start discussing the wedding day timeline and other details. We then had our final planning meeting about a month prior to the wedding to tie up any loose ends and make sure the wedding day timeline and other details were in tip-top condition.

Fast forward to Saturday, May 19, 2018! Kassie & Jake's wedding day was FINALLY here! Melody and her assistant, Rachel, showed up to the church a few hours prior to the ceremony to start setting up and pinned boutonnieres on the guys and distributed floral arrangements to Kassie and her lovely bridesmaids. About an hour before the ceremony, Rachel took off to the reception site (The Graduate Hotel) to ensure everything was setup there before guests arrived for cocktail hour. After the ceremony ended, Melody arrived to the reception site and to finish final details and setup and let's just say... EVERYTHING LOOKED AMAZING! Kassie's vision had definitely come to life and we were SO excited for her to see how everything turned out! The night continued with dinner, cake cutting, speeches, and one of the best father daughter dances we have ever seen! Kassie & Jake -- CONGRATULATIONS!
