Fun fact: Did you know JX Event Venue in Stillwater, Minnesota is one of our favorite venues? When Eliza from JX reached out to us in January 2018 to participate in an upcoming styled shoot at that very venue, you can bet we said "CONSIDER US IN!"

During the month of February, we started to create a mood board and came up with the theme of modern, romantic & elegant for a spring/summer inspired shoot. Eliza at JX wanted couples to see the versatility of the industrial and modern space, and how a couple could go about planning and designing their wedding day. In short, the options are endless! While Eliza secured most of the vendors (who are all part of the One23 Events network), Melody supported her and helped communicate their vision to the vendors. We originally had a bride and groom lined up but unfortunately they had to back out about a week and a half before the shoot. Melody's Lead Event Coordinator, Hannah, was going to help out at the shoot but ended up getting pulled in (last minute!) to be the "bride" and her boyfriend, Joe, got to be the "groom".

Fast forward to March 25th -- the styled shoot was here! Melody, Eliza and other vendors showed up bright and early to start setting up. Melody even brought her German Shepherd 3 1/2 month old puppy, Hank, to the shoot! While setup was nearing completion (and looking quite lovely), Hannah and Joe showed up to start getting dressed and ready for their big debut.
