This week we're highlighting Brittany & Matt's wedding that took place on August 5, 2017 at St. John Neumann Church in Eagan and Minneapolis Event Centers - The Riverside in Minneapolis. This past January, Tressa (Mother of the Bride), inquired with us about possibly hiring a wedding planner/day of coordinator for her daughter's upcoming wedding. A few weeks later, Tressa and I met for coffee and chatted about all the details. Tressa herself is actually a meeting planner so she was really set on hiring someone that could take the "planner duties" off her hands so she could do just one thing - BE A MOTHER OF THE BRIDE, OF COURSE!

A few short weeks later, we started working together! Although the venue and some of their vendors were already secured, they still had plenty of smaller details to plan. We finally got a chance to meet the bride, Brittany, when she was visiting Minnesota (she lives in Chicago!) We chatted ALL about her wedding details! Over the next seven months, we emailed back and forth on just about a weekly basis to plan out what would become one of the best days of Brittany & Matt's lives! It was so fun to see all the details come together from the centerpieces, to the decor, candles -- you name it! It was hard to believe how quickly summer flew by and that it was already August, just five days until Brittany & Matt's wedding, BUT we were ready!

On Friday, August 4th, wedding weekend was upon us! Brittany and Matt flew in from Chicago for the week to spend time with close family and friends and celebrate the days leading up to the wedding. Finally, the big day was here -- August 5th -- Brittany & Matt's wedding day! Our team arrived on site at Minneapolis Event Center around noon to start setting up all the pretty decor. The florist also arrived on site at this time to set up the centerpieces which were absolutely stunning! While our team continued to set up at Minneapolis Event Centers, the wedding party started to head over to the church where Brittany & Matt would finally say, "I DO". A few short hours later, guests started to arrive, drinks started to flow, and laughter and smiles filled the room. The night continued with dinner, speeches, ice cream and dancing. Wait, what!? ICE CREAM? Yes, that's right! Brittany & Matt had La La Ice Cream come in where guests could choose from six flavors and add their own toppings. Once dancing really kicked into high gear, there literally wasn't one person NOT on the dance floor. Talk about a PAR-TAY! Brittany & Matt -- CONGRATULATIONS!
