Venue Spotlight: Minnetonka Orchards

This past summer, we had the opportunity to check out Minnetonka Orchards in Minnetrista, MN. We reached out to Kelly Delisle, On-Site Operations Manager/Event Coordinator to get her take on what truly sets this venue apart.

What about Minnetonka Orchards would you like to highlight to couples?
This is a unique setting amongst woods, trails, apple trees and wide open space -- an amazing escape for your next event. We can accommodate up to 350 people for a sit down dinner inside the tent -- there are additional picnic tables outside that can be used, too. Both our ceremony and reception sites are nestled among apple trees, white pines and open space! You're invited to come out and take a look around. Your celebration can be customized with hayrides, bonfires, different food options, group games and activities 

How do you help a couple create their perfect wedding?
I am always on site to answer their questions, and I am very flexible and always find a way to cater to the couple's needs and wants.

What are some of the current trends you're seeing with weddings?
There are many trends here -- every single wedding is different. From 50's themed weddings to country themed, to carnival theme and much more.

What other events, besides weddings, does Minnetonka Orchards host?
The orchard is an amazing place for a wedding, reception, or a celebration of any kind. Our North Woods event tent and ceremony site can be reserved from anytime May through November. We also host birthday parties, corporate events and team building events.

What are some unique amenities and offerings Minnetonka Orchards has to offer?
Your celebration can be customized with hayrides, bonfires, different food options, group games, apples trees, petting zoos and the most important to a lot of people is our flexibility in whatever they would like to do.
