This week we're highlighting Hannah & Tim's wedding that took place at The Church of Christ the King and Minneapolis Event Centers-The View in Minneapolis on May 12, 2018. Hannah came to us in the fall of 2017 looking for a day of coordinator for her big day. She was looking for someone to help setup and teardown her decorations including place cards, centerpieces and more, as well as help ensure the day runs smoothly. Long story short... she came to the right place (Events by Melody!)

The cocktail hour and reception was held at the beautiful Minneapolis Event Centers (MEC new space downstairs (The View) and while we've worked with MEC in the past, we were thrilled to finally get the chance to work in their brand new space. Hannah & Tim's wedding was actually the very first wedding/event held in this space which opened up just a few short days before their wedding (how cool is that!?). Our team showed up to MEC mid afternoon to setup and ensure the space was completely setup before guests starting arrive after the ceremony. As Hannah & Tim's day of coordinator, we also helped coordinate the grand entrance, cued them when it was time for speeches and first dances, and communicated with vendors throughout the day to ensure everyone was on the same page. We also helped with teardown and packed everything up at the end of the night. Hannah & Tim -- CONGRATULATIONS! Wishing you many years of love, laughter & happiness.
