Vendor Spotlight: We've Got It Covered

If you're looking to transform your wedding or event space, then look no further. We came across Erin at We've Got It Covered a few months back, and ever since, we are a huge fan of her work as she has a lot to offer and is absolutely amazing to work with! We did a little Q&A with her to find out what truly sets her company apart.

When and how did you get into the wedding industry?
I have had an entrepreneurial spirit since I was a little girl (there is a long list of imaginary businesses I opened in my playroom). I thought my entrepreneurial dream was going to lead me into the real estate industry. As I pursued that dream, I stumbled across a wedding magazine while waiting in line at a checkout. I specifically remember the magazine cover of Magazine Bride that caught my eye. The bride was wearing a pink wedding dress! I'd never seen such a beautiful dress. I picked up the magazine and started flipping through it and I was hooked! I fell in love with all the different details of each wedding story and all the beautiful decor pieces that made each wedding unique to each couples' story. That was over a decade ago and I still get that same excited and inspired feeling every time I flip through a wedding magazine.

Where are you based and where do you meet with clients?
I have a showroom in Woodbury. I'm available by appointment so that I can best serve my clients' needs, whether it be an early morning appointment before a class or a late evening after work or anything in between. My showroom is one of my favorite placed. I could spend an entire day in there just laying out different linen and decor combinations. The showroom was designed as a place to play. I have a full-size guest table with banquet chairs so that we can try out multiple combinations of decor. Set up an appointment with me at erin@wevegotitcovered.com and be inspired!

What types of items do you have available for rent?
My rental inventory includes: linens, overlays, table runners, chargers, ceiling decor, custom backdrops, ceiling draping, cafe lighting, chair covers, lighting, arches, canopies, centerpieces and more. You can view all of the rental items on my website: www.wevegotitcovered.net If you don't see what you're looking for, just ask! I'm always adding to my inventory.

What makes you different at what you do?
We've Got It Covered is a wedding boutique experience. I'm not the largest rental company (you won't find any tents here), but I'm not the smallest either (I have thousands of linens, chair covers, and decor options). I'm right in the middle offering a truly custom and affordable decor experience. When you hire We've Got It Covered, you are getting me, Erin, every time you email or call. I know your name and wedding date and I'm with you through the entire process. Because of my close personal relationships with wholesalers, I'm able to continue adding to my inventory. If you don't see what you're looking for, just let me know and I can get it. I love the unique style of each wedding, that's why I have a lot of custom pieces. Want twinkle lights dripping from your ceremony tree? We've Got You Covered!

What do you love most about weddings
I love weddings because I love stories. I love the stories of how each couple came to this point in their life and relationship, where they have the courage to commit the rest of their lives to one another. It may sound silly, but behind each decor decision is also a story and I love to hear them all. A story of how a Grandmother has been collecting lace table runners for decades and how they are being used on the head tables. A story of how a mother of the bride wants her daughter to have her dream wedding, no matter the cost, but she remembers the feeling of walking into her dream wedding. A story of a surprise wedding where only the couple, officiant and myself know that the engagement party is the wedding!

Anything else you want to share with us!?
Yes! This is important, as there is no one "correct" way to celebrate your wedding - the only right way is that way that makes sense to you. Trust your instincts. Be creative. Be you.

One more thing - the money you spend on a wedding coordinator is the best money you'll spend on your wedding! You've spent a great amount of time and money on your big day, so be sure to enjoy each and every second of it because it will fly by.
