I planned our wedding myself, and loved (almost) every minute of it! A few months into planning I knew I would need some help on our wedding day with set up and execution. I wanted to hire someone that I trusted to help make the day come to life. I interviewed a few different planners, and it was clear that Melody was the right person. We met a couple of times and kept in touch via email leading up to the big day. Melody and Tina were with us on our wedding day, and they were simply amazing. Their calm yet confident energy was refreshing, and left me feeling so good about passing my "planning book" over to them! They got everything set up for the ceremony, social hour, and reception. It all looked perfect! One big concern for me was the logistics of our ceremony. They made sure everyone involved knew the game plan, lined us up, and kept us on track. They cued everyone from musicians to flower girls, groomsmen to bride! Melody and Tina also kept us in the loop throughout the night on how we were doing on time and what was happening next. I was able to remain in the moment and truly enjoy our wedding because of Events by Melody. Hiring Events by Melody was the best decision we made in planning our wedding. "I can't say enough what a help Melody and her team were. I hired her as my day-of coordinator, but she was tremendously helpful through the whole process. Helping us through an issue with our room blocks early on, and answering loads of questions about what to do in sticky situations. I had a small, nontraditional wedding and her presence helped fill the void of a wedding party. She felt like a friend through the planning process; the kind of friend that doesn't get annoyed hearing from you every other day with 10 "this or that" planning questions (so, the best kind of friend). "If it weren’t for Melody and her team (Maggie AND Tyler!), I know our wedding day would not have gone as well as it did. Her team did all of the small things that you may not think about (transporting items, setup and breakdown of both ceremony and reception, etc), and even MORE since we had a blizzard. When the bridal party bus got stuck in a ditch, my maid of honor turned to me and said, “I don’t know what to do,” and without skipping a beat I said “call Melody!” Melody organized a convoy of vehicles to pick us up at the bar and bring us to the reception, and kept all of the vendors in the know of where we were so we didn’t have to. Once we all got there, she worked with all of the vendors to adjust our ever-changing schedule, and made sure every detail was accounted for. My wedding day is true testament that even if you plan for worst case scenario, it can ALWAYS get worse. I hired her for peace of mind, and boy did she deliver! If I could give her 10/5 stars, I would!"

"The best decision I made in regard to my wedding [other than marrying my husband;)] was hiring Events by Melody. I'm a bit of a control freak and was determined to plan the whole wedding myself. I made my own invites, centerpieces, etc.. and I was proud! But when the wedding was ~2 weeks out, the pressure started to sink in. My husband emailed several coordinators and Melody responded quickly, had a great price and was extremely professional. Over the next two weeks, Melody was unbelievably helpful. She confirmed the details with all my vendors (final counts, arrival times, pick up times, etc). The day of timeline she created didn't leave a single detail out and it helped keep my wedding party in check all day. She set up all of our decor, place cards, etc. without question.. and to top it off: When my husband and I got up to our hotel room at the end of the night, she had cleaned it and left a personalized parting gift that left me literally in tears because I couldn't have imagine how stressful the day would have been without her. Melody asks questions when she needs to, but also has the confidence and style to execute on her own without bombarding the bride.
